We are HUD subsidized housing for the elderly and disabled. Our complex was built in 1968-69 by Chewelah Kiwanis Members. Opened for residents in 1969. There are 20 one bedroom apartments and 5 two bedroom apartments. Apartments are for 62+ Seniors and/or disabled of any age. Residents pay 30% of their adjusted income for rent the rest is subsidized by HUD. We meet all EHO and HUD compliance’s. Convenient location, independent apartment living, walking distance to local services. Hospital in our back yard. New Health to our immediate East, Catholic Church across Main Street.
